My motto is: “Learning a new language is so cool that you can’t wait to find out what the upgraded version of you will sound like…”
I am a graduate in Foreign Languages and Literature with over 10 years’ experience in teaching several languages. I started as an in-class language instructor for both groups and individuals, until my passion pushed me to familiarize myself with the e-Learning model. For that reason, I have also studied to become an online language instructor (e-Instructor), a qualification that has helped me to integrate several digital tools into my traditional curriculum and methodology.
Learning new languages has always been as challenging as it is fun. One of the things that I like most about learning new languages is that the process is similar to a journey that allows me to overcome barriers, always offering a new vision of the world. Knowing a new language means to better understand a new culture. It is not just about words, it is about mindsets.
As a student, I know that it is often hard to exit our comfort zone when it comes to the oral component of the language. For this reason, I like to push my students and myself from the very beginning of the journey.
As an instructor, I know that providing strong foundations is crucial to my students’ success!
Finally, I learnt that no matter what level of fluency we reach, we will always know more than we did when we all started.
